I’m an innovator, a crafter, a deals-finding pro and a wanderlust.

Innovator

It all started from a patient’s need to keep his tracheostomy dry while he showered to prevent water from entering his lungs. I searched online and found that only USA sold a tracheostomy cover and at an exhorbitant price.

Determined to not waste my patient’s money, I came up with a shower shield using a shampoo visor and a silicon mat to form a perfect seal.

I also created another adaptive cup handle using scrap materials for a grandma without fingers. Being able to create low-cost and effective tools for others was my proudest achievement as an occupational therapist.

Crafter

When I’m free, I mix and match my preserved flowers to create terrariums and jewelry. I love seeing how the colours blend while making each piece and the satisfied faces of the people who receive them.

What started as a hobby became a small business when I received my first customised order.

My next step would be to teach others to create their own art pieces using preserved flowers and create a space for the young and old to form bonds through craft.

Deals-finding Pro

I’m always on the lookout for the best deals - Dining, free cash, cheap furniture and clothes.

Some of my favourite apps include Taobao, Burpple Beyond and Moneysmart. I grew to love them because of how easy it was to filter to find what I want and at the same time enjoy cheap thrills from their deals and offers.

I learnt from being a user of these apps how to create a good user experience through my frustrations when using these apps. I realised no matter how small a button, if the placement is not right, the user experience will suffer.

Wanderlust

I never leave the country without my mini-me. It has travelled over 10 countries with me.

Animals love me in Taiwan

and in Korea too.

Here’s Vietnam’s blue sky and fluffy clouds.

The best part of travelling would be the culinary adventures! Yummy in my tummy!

Some exercises to aid digestion in Boracay and Jeju island.

And enjoying what nature has to offer in New Zealand while skydiving.
